This is the best place to grab lunch and enjoy a great view while you eat.  It's one of the few restaurants actually near the water and they've done a wonderful job of making the dining area unique and fun for the entire family.

It's not a place to go when it rains, as their best seats are on the green, so it's a good thing there's a bout 325 days of sunshine in Carpinteria!  You even get to watch an occasional train rumble by. 

The food is quite good, by the way.  

Northbound:  Take the 101 to Santa Claus Lane exit.   Turn left at the bottom of the exit and go back under the freeway.  Turn left on Santa Claus Lane.  Go straight about a half mile and the Grill will be on your right.

Southbound:  Take the 101 to Santa Claus Lane exit.   At the bottom of the exit there will be a stop sign.  Go straight about a half mile and the Grill will be on your right.
